A carbon copy of a typed letter from Roger Knoebber to James Kennedy McCann on 26 May 1996.
This notes that Roger is no longer living at Philip Heying's place [where he was sleeping on the dining room floor], and thanks James for the support in getting him into rue de Buci. He also thanks James for a number of gifts including clothing, books [including an Allen Ginsberg biography], and a wall hanging.
Roger mentions Philip Heying's caution in being a French-to-English translator in James' business dealings [with Russian individuals, a questionable deal over copper scrap].
Roger then mentions some interest that James has in Lawrence Lacina collages, and mentions Hervé Bînet and Gillaume Birot.
Roger discusses a Grant proposal between him and James' Academia Foundation, and progress with Peter Owen on the potential publishing of Hysteresis [the book would not be published until 2024, by Theo Green's Inkblot, with myself, demi raven].
