A letter from Jason Weiss to Roger Knoebber, dated 17 February 1991.
This begins with discussion of a common friend ["Wendy"], of cover art for Jason's books – including a mention of Writing at Risk – and of Japan.
Following this, mentions of his creative writing class, book projects, reviews, etc.
Jason mentions Sharon Doubiago and poetry, then discusses Paris, Paris weather, and American politics.
On the back of the letter are copies of two reviews by Jason Weiss, both in Jazz Forum, April/May 1990: "Rova Rovings", about the Rova Saxophone Quartet and of Is That You? by Bill Frisell.
The fourth page is an extended quote from Near to the Wild Heart, pp. 112-113. This may have been an inclusion from a different letter, but certainly comes from Jason Weiss' word processor.
