This is a response to a request for a recollection of Brion Gysin from Steve Lacy for inclusion in Hysteresis. Steve Lacy suggests an in-person interview, noting that "writing is a severe chore".

The image on the postcard is from Stave Lacy's album Packet, which are songs by Judith Malina and Julian Beck of The Living Theater.
