After his apology for a delay in response, Roger expresses his envy for Sarah's recent trip to San Francisco.
Roger then talks about the writing of "Bo", and mentions The Third Mind by his friends William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin. He also mentions Hofstadter's The Eternal Golden Braid. He then talks about the final years of Brion Gysin's mother's life in Vancouver, mentioning Allen Ginsberg's and Gregory Corso's visits with her.
The following paragraph is about Bryan "Trolley Bus" Mulvihill, friend of Gysin, suggesting that Sarah contact him.
Roger comments on both his and Sarah's ages, and notes that "now, [he's] 19 again. Trying to drink all the wine and kiss all the girls."
