A letter from Roger Knoebber to his sister Sarah Knoebber, dated 11 March 1988.

This letter starts with an apology from Roger for the delay in response.

Roger mentions that he has been suffering from tinnitus for over a year, and that despite that, the film Don Giovanni was pleasant to hear, and he has seen it four times.

Roger then notes that his daughter Shufina came to visit the day that he was released from the hospital.

Roger suggests that Sarah continue to learn French and to come visit France.

He then suggests that Sarah read Michael Ondaatje's Billy the Kid, and Coming Through Slaughter.  He also suggests Samuel Beckett's Mercier and Camier and Theodore Zeldin's The French.

In the final paragraph, Roger discusses his "erotic noel" in progress (WOO).
