A letter from Roger Knoebber to his sister Sarah Knoebber, dated 28 July 1988, with its envelope and a copy of the letter.
The first paragraph is an appreciation for material and money sent.
The second paragraph notes that he doesn't know about what Bill is up to (William S. Burroughs) as he has been hospitalized. Roger notes that he moved up the list for a lung transplant. He expresses concern that the transplant might occur at the same time as his mother's visit.
Roger suggests that Sarah read through all of Jeremy Campbell's book Grammatical Man.
Roger then suggests that Sarah gets a dictionary to help with her French language progress, and asks if she wants any materials from France.
Roger then recounts his daughter Khamoor and her family's visit.
