A letter from Roger Knoebber to his sister Sarah Knoebber, dated 2 August 1987, with its envelope and a copy of the letter.

The first paragraph is an apology for not having written sooner, noting that he had been distracted by an "old love goddess from the Dominican Republic" which interrupted his life with eros.

The second paragraph is about jazz music, noting Steve Lacy, Dexter Gordon, Miles Davis, and Jessica Williams.

Following this, Roger discusses a potential visit from his daughter Shufina, and of an upcoming visit from Sarah, making plans.
