Roger Knoebber's journal for 1990, started while recuperating from his 1989 lung transplant. This is densely filled, with consistent entries in February. 

In the earlier months, this also served as his scrapbook and notebook, with newspaper clippings and notes about people and projects. Later, this becomes more a traditional diary, with hand-written entries for each day. Roger played with color in this journal, alternating pen colors and styles of entry. 

A number of people in the circle of Brion Gysin are noted within these daily entries.
